Head Chef Christopher Archambault

All of our produce is sourced as locally as possible. All our meat is from the West Country and is sourced and supplied by either Steve Turton's Fine Meats, Dave Haggett of Silverton, or Creedy Carver of Devon. Our fish are caught off Cornwall and Devon, (unless otherwise specified)from Matthew Stevens of Cornwall. Our organic vegetables are grown and supplied by John Rowswell of Somerset.
Dry goods are sourced from Ritter Courivaud.
Specialty Italian products are supplied by Stephano Vallebona of Sardinia. The Village Bakery of Exeter bakes our sandwich loaves and raisin bread.
We 'wood fire' our home-made bread for the restaurant which lends the slight smokiness to its flavour.

Devon Today Nov 05 - "With this much love and care going into the food, one can only imagine what will be coming to a dinner table near you."

The Saturday Times Sept 05 - "Full marks to Archambault (head chef. His...)approach is typical of a movement that...include(s)local food and traceability on menus. In fact, he places daily orders for the restaurant in person with a fishmonger, a deli, a baker and a butcher, based at a parade of shops on his way to work. Now that's what you call local."
